What Is OneFrame® Retraction?

The Pediatric Abdominal OneFrame® Retractor Set combines a compact, low-profile frame with independently positioned blades. The pediatric configuration is scaled for smaller anatomy and allows the frame and individual retraction points to be adapted to the operative field. 

Unlike a complete ring surrounding the incision, OneFrame® provides an open frame architecture. Retractor handles can be positioned independently along the frame, allowing the surgical team to establish exposure according to the incision, anatomy, and direction of retraction required.

The Pediatric Abdominal Quick Frame Retractor Set uses an open, modular table-mounted frame specifically scaled for smaller pediatric patients. The Pediatric Surgical Atlas configuration uses an Infinite Height Rail Clamp, a 24-inch crossbar, shorter angled arms, and pediatric-sized handles arranged around the abdominal incision. 

Quick Angle Handles allow blades to be angled up to 45 degrees above or below the frame, while a Mini Micro-Adjustable Handle provides precise incremental adjustment at an individual retraction point. For infants, an 8-inch Screw Down Handle is available as the recommended shorter handle option.
